I'm Chris Serra. I've been building websites for twenty years, and I build them now for established local businesses that do good work and deserve to be found for it.
The story
Twenty years the long way, then the tools caught up.
I started hand-coding websites my senior year of high school. No builder, no template, just me and the code, watching something come to life in the browser. That feeling never let go.
Over the next twenty years I learned everything around it. Design, video, copywriting, marketing strategy, media buying. I picked up every skill one hard project at a time, and for a long stretch I felt like a jack of all trades and a master of none.
Then the tools changed. AI didn't replace what I spent twenty years learning. It removed the slow grind that was capping it. Work that used to take weeks now takes days, and it's better than it was.
Most owners already have what they need to grow: the skill, the reputation, the customers who'd vouch for them. What they're missing is a presence that says it clearly and gets found. The most successful owners are rarely the loudest. They're the clearest and the easiest to find.
I do this to take care of my family and be present for them, and because I believe I was put in this position to help good owners get seen. The work is good. The purpose is the whole thing.
